What I like about Avalon Estates is that buyers get a lot of amenities in a community of only 365 homes. It has the clubhouse, pool, tennis, pickleball and social activities many buyers are looking for without being one of the very large 55+ developments.

I also like the variety of homes. The Regal and Royal collections offer noticeably different sizes and lot configurations, so buyers can choose between a more manageable floor plan or a larger home with additional living space.

Because the community was built in the early 2000s, I would pay attention to the level of updating from one property to another. Two homes with the same original floor plan can feel completely different depending on renovations, hurricane protection and improvements made over the years.

For buyers looking for a single-family home in a smaller Boynton Beach 55+ community with strong tennis and pickleball amenities and a resort-style clubhouse lifestyle, Avalon Estates is definitely worth considering.
