With 504 single-family homes, it falls into a comfortable middle ground. It’s large enough to offer a substantial clubhouse, Olympic-size pool, tennis, bocce and an active social calendar, but it isn’t one of the enormous 55+ developments with well over 1,000 residences.

I also like the range of home sizes. With floor plans from approximately 1,402 to 2,255 square feet, Vizcaya can work for someone who genuinely wants to downsize as well as a buyer who still wants a little more room.

And then there’s the location. Being right off Atlantic Avenue is a real advantage. You’re in western Delray Beach, but getting to the Turnpike, shopping and restaurants or heading east toward Downtown Delray and the beach is straightforward.

For buyers who want a single-family home in an established Delray Beach 55+ community with strong amenities, a manageable community size and convenient access to Atlantic Avenue, Vizcaya is one I would definitely include in the search.
