Despite their nearly identical names, Ponte Vecchio West and Ponte Vecchio are two separate 55+ communities in Boynton Beach.

Each community has its own homeowners association, guard-gated entrance, clubhouse, swimming facilities, fitness facilities and recreational amenities. Residents do not share amenities between Ponte Vecchio West and Ponte Vecchio.

Daisy’s Perspective

What I like about Ponte Vecchio West is its smaller size. With only 253 homes, you can still have the amenities and activities of a 55+ community without living in a neighborhood with 1,000 or more residences.

I also think the indoor and outdoor pools are a nice feature. An indoor pool isn’t something you find in every 55+ community, and for someone who swims regularly for exercise, that can be a real advantage.

The homes are another plus for me. You are getting single-family living, attached 2-car garages and comfortable floor plans, but in a community that feels much more intimate than many of the larger active adult developments in the area.

Location

Ponte Vecchio West is located in western Boynton Beach, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, medical facilities and everyday conveniences.

Florida’s Turnpike provides convenient access throughout Palm Beach County, while Downtown Boynton Beach, Downtown Delray Beach, Atlantic Avenue, Boca Raton, the beaches and Palm Beach International Airport are also accessible from the community.
