Loxahatchee Groves Homes for Sale, FL

Loxahatchee Groves is an incorporated town in western Palm Beach County known for large properties, equestrian estates, farms and a distinctly rural lifestyle. With most lots measuring five acres or more, buyers can find substantially more land and privacy here than in many of Palm Beach County’s traditional residential communities.

The town’s equestrian identity remains an important part of the area, with barns, paddocks, riding arenas and horse properties found throughout Loxahatchee Groves. Its location just north of Wellington also makes it especially appealing to buyers who want acreage while remaining convenient to the area’s major equestrian venues.

Living in Loxahatchee Groves

Real estate in Loxahatchee Groves is far less uniform than in a traditional planned community. Properties range from residential homes on acreage to substantial equestrian estates with barns, riding arenas, paddocks and other improvements.

The Town actively works to preserve its rural-equestrian character and maintains roadways, canals and equestrian trail infrastructure. Buyers will encounter both paved and unpaved roads, large parcels and a setting where agriculture and equestrian uses remain part of everyday life.

Daisy’s Perspective

For buyers who want serious acreage, Loxahatchee Groves offers a lifestyle that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in Palm Beach County. It feels peaceful and rural, with large properties and plenty of space between neighbors, yet Wellington is immediately to the south.

I especially like it for equestrian buyers who want room for barns, paddocks or their own riding facilities while staying convenient to Wellington’s equestrian venues. But you certainly do not need to own horses to appreciate the privacy, land and quieter pace of living here.

For me, the biggest difference between Loxahatchee Groves and a conventional neighborhood is that you are really choosing the property and the land, not a clubhouse or community amenity package.
