Boynton Leisureville vs. Palm Beach Leisureville

One of the most important things for buyers to understand is that Boynton Leisureville and Palm Beach Leisureville are two separate 55+ communities.

Although their names are similar and both are located in Boynton Beach, they have separate associations, homes, amenities and MLS listings.

Boynton Leisureville consists of approximately 892 single-family homes and offers its own clubhouse, heated pool, fitness facilities, bocce, shuffleboard and social activities.

Palm Beach Leisureville has a different community structure and amenity package, including an 18-hole par-3 golf course and three recreation facilities with three community pools.

Because the names are so similar, buyers should pay close attention to the subdivision and association information when comparing listings.

Daisy’s Perspective

What I like about Boynton Leisureville is the combination of single-family-home living, an established neighborhood and its eastern Boynton Beach location.

This is a very different option from many of the newer 55+ communities farther west. Buyers aren’t necessarily coming here for a huge resort-style clubhouse or newer construction. The appeal is more about value, location, a detached home and access to useful community amenities.

I also think it’s important to compare Boynton Leisureville with Palm Beach Leisureville rather than assuming the two communities are interchangeable. The homes, amenities and association structures are different, and one may make much more sense for a particular buyer than the other.

For someone looking for an established 55+ single-family home in Boynton Beach with convenient access to I-95 and the coast, Boynton Leisureville is definitely worth including in the search.

Location

Boynton Leisureville is located in eastern Boynton Beach, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, medical facilities and everyday conveniences.

I-95, Downtown Boynton Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway are nearby, while Downtown Delray Beach, Atlantic Avenue, the beaches and Palm Beach International Airport are also within easy reach.

For buyers who prefer being closer to the coast and I-95 rather than farther west near the Florida Turnpike, the location can be a real advantage.
